Teachers

I completed the 500 hr. Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification at the Himalayan Institute in October, 2011. My 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training was through Integrative Yoga Therapy. Since 1998 I have been teaching in a wide variety of venues, including hospital wellness programs, military settings and public libraries.

In 2008 I completed the Level III iRest®-Yoga Nidra Teacher Certification and began to teach within the military community. I present iRest classes at regional Yellow Ribbon Reintegration retreats for pre- and post deployment Reserve and National Guard units and their families. I also lead Gentle Yoga and iRest® meditation classes for female veterans at the Orlando, FL VA Medical Center and the Viera, FL VA Outpatient Clinic.
